The LMH1981MT/NOPB is a high-performance multi-format video sync separator designed for a variety of video applications, including broadcast and professional video equipment, as well as HDTV and DTV systems. It supports standard analog video formats such as NTSC, PAL, 480I/P, 576I/P, 720P, and 1080I/P/PsF, and is compatible with both bi-level and tri-level sync signals. This device provides essential timing signals, including composite, horizontal, and vertical sync outputs, along with burst/back porch timing, odd/even field, and video format outputs. It features automatic video format detection and offers superior jitter performance on the leading edge of HSync, which minimizes the need for additional circuitry to clean and reduce jitter in subsequent clock generation stages. The LMH1981 operates over a supply voltage range of 3.3V to 5V and can handle video inputs with amplitudes from 0.5V_PP to 2V_PP. The LMH1981 is packaged in a 14-pin TSSOP and is rated for operation within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions.
