The DS99R421 is a converter designed to transform a 5-43 MHz FPD-Link LVDS input, which includes 3 data channels and 1 clock, into a single FPD-Link II LVDS output with embedded clock and DC-balanced data transmission. This device supports a total of 21 LVDS data bits along with 3 low-speed LVCMOS control bits, facilitating simplified data transfer over a single differential pair of PCB traces or cables. Key features include user-adjustable pre-emphasis for enhanced signal integrity over longer distances, integrated 100,Ѷ termination resistors at the LVDS input, and the capability to drive signals up to 10 meters using shielded twisted-pair cables.
