The DRV8886AT is a bipolar stepper motor driver with integrated current sensing and smart tune adaptive decay technology, designed for industrial and consumer applications. It operates from an 8 to 37 V supply and delivers up to 2 A full-scale or 1.4 A rms output current per bridge, dependent on PCB thermal design. The device features a STEP/DIR interface for microstepping up to 1/16, and includes protection against overcurrent, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage. It is available in a 24-pin HTSSOP package with an exposed thermal pad, measuring 7.80 mm × 4.40 mm. The part meets AEC-Q200 qualifications and is RoHS compliant.
