The DRV8301 is a three-phase gate driver IC designed for brushless DC and permanent magnet synchronous motor applications, integrating three half-bridge drivers, dual current shunt amplifiers with adjustable gain, and a 1.5-A buck converter. It operates from a 6-V to 60-V supply and supports 6- or 3-PWM input modes with SPI control for fault reporting and parameter configuration. The device includes programmable dead time control, overcurrent protection, undervoltage and overvoltage lockout, and overtemperature warning/shutdown. It is housed in a 56-pin HTSSOP package with an exposed power pad, measuring 14.00 mm × 8.10 mm, and is rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C ambient temperature.
