Style TNW nozzle thermocouples are designed for surface temperature measurement on nozzles via a shallow threaded hole, with a grounded junction and no direct contact with material flow. The thermocouples are available in five thread sizes: 1/4-28 UNF, 1/4-20 UNC, M6 × 1, M8 × 1.25, or a custom size. Lead insulation is offered in fiberglass rated to 900°F (482°C) or Teflon rated to 400°F (204°C), with optional stainless steel overbraid. Termination styles include split leads, spade lugs, spade lugs with BX connector, standard plug, standard jack, miniature plug, miniature jack, or custom. Calibration follows ANSI standards for J, K, E, T, or N types, and a strain relief spring is optionally available. The lead length is specified in whole inches from 006 to 999.
