Outdoor Intercom Station is designed for exterior mounting. Once the call button is activated, all phones in the house will ring with a distinctive ring that indicates an incoming intercom communication. A full duplex speaker is incorporated, which allows conversation with whoever responds by picking up a phone. Additional stations can be added for larger installations.
Intercom Station Features:
- Outdoor Station includes back box and screwless wallplate
- Designed to easily fit within a standard dual gang box or low voltage ring
- Connects via IDC punchdown to the interface board included in Main Controller Board Kit (47000-MKB)
- Can serve as one of a maximum of 12 intercom stations that can be attached to the system in 4 zones
- Speaker/microphone can be used upon activation to receive an answering machine auto-answer message and to leave a message such as when homeowner is away
- Speakers can be used to monitor individual zones remotely from any phone in the house for added security
- Speakers can also be used to broadcast a message from any phone
- Can operate at up to a maximum of 4000 feet from the Structured Media Center (SMC)
- Offers feedback adjustment capabilities
