The FlexPlate housing consist of a base and cover with jack mountingplates for mounting snap-in jacks which are ordered separately. Jack mounting plates slide into place to mount the snap-in jacks while the unused retainers may be stored in the jack cover. The snap-in installation of jack modules provides flexibility and low cost moves and changes. The snap-on cover reduces installation time and eliminates shorts due to pinched wires under the cover. Cable dresses out the back of the cover, or through knock-outs on either
side of the cover. Cable may also be dressed through a hole in the base. Mounting screws are included in packaging, as well as a double-sided adhesive pad for applications where mounting with screws would be objectionable.
