Techsil® IS803 is a ready-to-use one part adhesive sealant, which reacts with atmospheric moisture to form a resilient rubber, which remains flexible over a very wide temperature range. Techsil® IS803 liberates a very small amount of acetic acid during cure which gives rise to the familiar 'vinegar' odor, which quickly dissipates after cure. This high specification sealant is ideal for a myriad of engineering applications from production work to fast, effective maintenance and on the spot repairs. You can apply IS803 directly from the cartridge by using a standard 310ml caulking gun. IS803 will cure at room temperature and under typical ambient conditions will develop a tack free surface in a approximately 15 minutes and cure within 24 hours. IS803 offers good electrical insulation and also has resistance to chemicals and solvents. Promotes excellent bonding to a wide variety of substrates and remains flexible from -60°C to +300°C.
