The product Three Bond 5222N is a single-component solvent free and non-acid sealant based on modified silicone with low odor emission. Developed as a phthalate-free direct replacement for TB5222D, within a very short time it forms a rubber-like seal completely adapted to the surface structure of the fitting faces. Three Bond 5222N has been designed specifically as a seam sealant for the construction, automotive and general engineering industries to seal joints in metal fabrications. Being of modified silicone nature it has excellent adhesion to steel, aluminum and painted surfaces with the added benefit of being over-paintable.
