Threebond TB1208B is a single component, solvent free and non-acid liquid RTV gasket silicone. Within a very short time it forms a rubber-like highly elastic gasket completely adapted to the surface structure of the flange facing. It has been designed specifically for the efficient application as sealant in the automotive sector for extremely high mechanical loads. This grade offers excellent chemical resistance against engine oil with outstanding mechanical resistance against shear forces. There is no shrinkage during cure and it provides excellent adhesion even to slightly polluted surfaces. Grey in color with an oxime reaction type cure, its finished shore hardness is 35 A.
