ThreeBond TB1344E is a low strength anaerobic adhesive designed for locking and sealing threaded fasteners, particularly in applications requiring frequent disassembly. It is suitable for non-ferrous materials such as brass and aluminum, as well as small precision screws. The adhesive cures in the absence of oxygen and in the presence of metallic ions, providing a bond that is effective over a temperature range of -60¬8C to 150¬8C. The product features a viscosity of 600 mPa.s and a density of 1.10 g/cm¬=. It has a fixturing time of less than 10 minutes and reaches full cure within 24 hours at 25¬8C. The adhesive exhibits excellent resistance to oil, water, and various chemicals, making it versatile for different environments. It is important to note that while it can be disassembled with hand tools, excessive bond strength may require heating for disassembly. For optimal performance, surfaces should be clean and free of oil, and the adhesive should be applied to at least five threads of the fastener. The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored properly.
ThreeBond TB1344E is a solvent free anaerobic adhesive/sealant which has been specially developed for locking and sealing threaded parts with low strength when cured, particularly suitable for applications where frequent disassembly may be required. Its low strength is recommended for fine threads of hydraulic and pneumatic connections, non-ferrous parts in brass or aluminum and for small precision screws. TB 1344E cures spontaneously with the exclusion of oxygen and in the presence of metallic, particularly ferrous ions.
