D3051 is a white, hand tearable, double coated tissue tape with a solvent acrylic adhesive. This is a versatile tape used in many applications including splicing, plastic bag sealing, name plate bonding and seamless cardboard bonding. Within the Print & Graphics industry, D3051 is used on auto splicing equipment fitted to sheet feeders. The D3051 automatically joins the new rolls in the cardboard corrugators line. D3051 can be cut to the required widths in line with equipment requirements. Looking into the automotive industry, D3051 is used in the manufacture of automotive seating. It is used to hold the foam in place whilst the leather outer is stretched over the frames on armrests. As this product is hand-tearable it makes it very quick and easy to apply. It gives a strong bond even at high temperatures such as 120C. It is mainly used in the automotive industry.
