Techsil Limited Panacol Vitralit® 6108 UV Curing Adhesive 100gm PNVI00019

Description
Vitralit® 6108 is a low viscosity, UV and thermal curing acrylic adhesive which offers excellent adhesion to metal, glass and some plastics. 6108 is transparent in color and non-yellowing after UV exposure. This innovative grade combines the advantages of both thermal and UV light curing conditions providing a very flexible cure solution; after initial curing with light, shadowed areas can be cured with heat. The low viscosity of Vitralit® 6108 makes it ideal for needle bonding applications, along with other medical applications where wicking of the adhesives into the pre-assembled parts is required. This grade has shown excellent moisture and chemical resistant which makes it suitable for sterilization by autoclaving, EtO or gamma irradiation. Material thickness of 0.02mm can be cured in approximately 2 seconds using UVA light with an intensity of 45mW/cm². Areas shadowed from light can then be heat cured by exposure to 150°C for approximately 30 minutes. For a rapid and high quality cure, we would recommend the UV and LED devices manufactured by Dr. Hönle AG.
