Structalit® 701 is a two part, thermal curing adhesive which offers great bonding to a wide range of materials including metals (aluminum, steel, stainless steel) and many plastics. With a long pot life and short curing time, 701 is a very easy adhesive to work with. It appears amber in color however transparent when used in thin layers.
With is excellent moisture and chemical resistance, Structalit® 701 is the ideal choice for sterilization methods including autoclave, EtO and gamma irradiation. Recommended for the bonding of optical fibers and surgical instruments; 701 was designed initially for medical applications.
