Momentive RTV229B is a dark grey thixotropic silicone catalyst, normally used with RTV210 A. When used in conjunction with RTV210A, 229B promotes an extremely fast cure at room temperature and is low odor.
The mix ratio recommended with RTV210A is 100:10 RTV210A to RTV229B by weight; however this can be altered to suit the application. Increasing the ratio will speed to reaction, while decreasing the ratio will slow the reaction.
