BJB TC-284 'PolySoft 4' is a two-component, self-skinning, flexible polyurethane foam. The cured material feels similar to an automotive arm rest pad. The firmness can easily be altered with a slight ratio change, for example at a ratio of 50/100 pbw TC-284 produces a firm 8 pound density foam. At 30/100 pbw, the result will be a softer feel but the density increase to 13 pound per cubic foot. Common applications for this material include prototyping, bumper/crash pads, arm rests, movie SFX, props and more. BJB TC-284 is part of a larger 'PolySoft' range which ranges from a foam with as little as 3 pound density. See related products below for more information.
