The foam can be customized in firmness by adjusting the mix ratio, with a recommended ratio of 75 parts A to 100 parts B yielding a firm foam, while a ratio of 60 parts A to 100 parts B results in a softer foam. The material has a density of 4 lbs/ft¬= and features a cream time of 15-20 seconds, rise time of 80-90 seconds, and a demold time of 20-30 minutes at 77¬8F (25¬8C). Proper mixing and mold preparation are essential for optimal performance, and the product should be stored at ambient temperatures between 65-80¬8F (18-27¬8C) with a shelf life of 6 months when unopened. BJB TC-277 'PolySoft 3' is a two-component, flexible polyurethane foam. The cured material feels similar to foam sandals. The firmness can easily be altered with a slight ratio change, for example at a ratio of 75/100 pbw TC-277 produces a firm, quick recovery foam. At 60/100 pbw the result will be a slightly softer foam. Common applications for this material include prototyping, prosthetics, medical training devices, movie SFX, props and more. TC-266 is frequently molded behind flexible polyurethane skin materials such as BJB's SkinFlex line or other BJB Elastomers.
