The KISSLING Series 87 ADR battery master switch is a bistable relay system for emergency disconnection of battery power in hazardous material transport vehicles, as required by ADR 2003 section 9.2.2.3. It is rated for 300A continuous current and operates from -40°C to +85°C. The IP6K9K-protected PBT housing contains CuZn brass terminals and supports 95mm² wiring. Certified to TÜV Süd TÜ.EGG 086-04 ADR 2003 9.2.2.3, it functions in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous environments per ExIIG EEx m ib IIC T6/T4. The switch auto-separates the battery when ignition is interrupted or an emergency input triggers, with programmable delay and monitoring. Contact life is 50,000 cycles at 300A resistive load and 100,000 mechanical cycles. Dielectric strength is 500VAC for 1 minute, with insulation resistance of 100MΩ minimum. Overload capability is 600A for 20 seconds and 2400A for 1 second. Mounting is chassis-based with direct wiring to the main circuit.
