TE Connectivity Power Relays, Over 2 Amps HC-4/12VDC

The HC-4 is a high-voltage relay designed for make and break load switching with tungsten contacts for long life in power switching applications, meeting MIL-R-83725 requirements. It has a SPDT contact arrangement, vacuum dielectric for arc suppression, and a rated operating voltage of 8 kV DC or 60 Hz. Contact resistance is maximum 0.02 ohm. The coil operates at 12 Vdc nominal with a pickup maximum of 8 Vdc, dropout of 0.5-5 Vdc, and coil resistance of 80 Ω ±10%. Operate and release times are maximum 6 ms. It supports a continuous carry current of 15 A RMS, withstands 50 g shock and 10 g vibration (55-2000 Hz), and operates from -55°C to +125°C. The relay has a mechanical life of 2 million cycles and weighs 39.69 g (1.4 oz.).
