TE Connectivity’s Surface Mount Flag Terminal is an NTC thermistor, where the bead has been soldered to extension wires. The thermistor is constructed of a unit potted in a Mylar tube which is then potted in the flag housing with black epoxy resin. Designed for bolt-in-place applications these NTC thermistors are suitable for heat sink applications and are used to measure, compensate and control temperatures of heat exchangers, surface plates, motors and fluid pumping systems. Flag terminals available in different sizes. Alternative hole sizes available. A range of R/T curves is offered. Custom tolerances are available. Copper housing enables excellent thermal transfer characteristics.
