The EDM14 relay is a hermetically sealed, 4PDT and 1PDT double-break electromechanical relay designed for severe environment applications in rail, aerospace, and ground vehicles. It is constructed with a balanced force design to ensure consistent contact pressure and extended contact life. The relay features a hermetic seal rated at 1x10⁻⁸ atm cm³/s and operates across a temperature range of -70°C to +125°C. It meets MIL-PRF-83536 standards. The physical dimensions are 37.7 x 26.8 x 25.7 mm, and it weighs 118 grams. It supports DC coil operation with voltage options from 6 to 220 Vdc, and the contact configuration allows switching up to 74 Vdc at 4.5 A for Form Z loads and 2.5 A for Form C loads under resistive conditions. Contact bounce is limited to 5 ms max. The relay is available with multiple mounting and terminal styles including solder dipped and gold plated terminals.
