The Z10-40 is a 400W programmable power supply in the Z+ Low Voltage Series, designed for bench or 2U rack mounting with constant voltage and constant current modes, and automatic crossover between them. It provides 0 to 10V output and 0 to 40A current, with a standard built-in USB, RS232, and RS485 interface, and optional IEEE 488 (GPIB) interface as specified in the part number suffix. The unit accepts a wide 85 to 265Vac input, operates with 80% efficiency at 100-200Vac, and has a maximum ripple and noise of 50mV (5Hz-1MHz) and 50mV (20MHz BW). It features a standard body size of 70 x 83 x 350 mm and includes front panel output jacks. The product is certified to IEC/UL/CSA/EN61010-1
