The DC-DC converter is a type of switching power supply that converts direct currents of buslines into direct currents that are needed for devices. Medically certified to the IEC 60601-1 standards, the PXC-M is housed in the industry standard DIP-24 package. Featuring an input to output isolation voltage of 5,000Vac and accepting either a 9 to 36Vdc or 18 to 75Vdc input, the PXC-M series is available with output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, +/- 5, +/- 12 and +/- 15Vdc. Operation from 12V and 24V, or 24V and 48V nominal inputs reduces inventory carrying costs and improves part availability.
