MRF10005 is a microwave power silicon bipolar transistor designed for continuous wave and long-pulsed common base amplifier applications in the 960-1215 MHz frequency range. It delivers 5.0 W CW output power at 28 Vdc with a minimum gain of 8.5 dB and typical gain of 10.3 dB. The device is housed in a hermetically sealed CASE 336E-02, STYLE 1 package, features internal input matching for broadband operation, and is 100% tested for load mismatch at all phase angles with 10:1 VSWR. Silicon nitride passivation and gold metallization with emitter ballasting ensure long-term reliability.
