The KMS15-9 is a 15W medical AC-DC power supply for PCB mounting, offering a 9V output at up to 1.67A. It operates from a wide input range of 90-264VAC and meets medical safety standards including IEC/EN60601-1 with 4kVAC input-to-output isolation. The unit has a compact size of 64 x 46 x 24mm, weighs 120g, and features convection cooling with a maximum case temperature of 95°C. Efficiency is 79%, with output ripple and noise limited to 50mV peak-to-peak or 1% of the output voltage, whichever is greater. It includes overcurrent hiccup-mode protection, overvoltage clamping via Zener diode, and complies with EN60601-1-2 for immunity and EN55032 Class B for conducted EMI. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 70°C, with linear derating from 50°C to 70°C.
