The 802-OEM-20KV-NEG-3P400 is a high-voltage capacitor charging and DC power supply in the 802 series, rated for 20 kV output with negative polarity and 400 VAC three-phase input. It features a compact rack-mount package measuring 19 in (483 mm) wide, 8.72 in (222 mm) high, and 17 in (432 mm) deep, weighing 80 lbs (37 kg). The unit delivers 8 kJ/sec average capacitor charging power and 8 kW continuous DC output, with passive PFC (pf = 0.85) and efficiency exceeding 85% at full load. It includes a blank front panel, remote control via a 25-pin D-sub connector, and protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, arcs, and overtemperature. The HV output uses a DS2124 coaxial cable with a proprietary connector. The unit operates with ambient temperatures from -20 to +45°C and meets UL/CSA safety standards with an AC line contactor as standard on OEM models.
