The 303 Series is a high-voltage, water-cooled capacitor charging and DC power supply designed for output voltages from 1 kV to 50 kV and continuous DC power of 50 kW. It features an ultra-compact 7U rack-mount design measuring 19 in W x 12.25 in H x 22.5 in D (483 mm x 311 mm x 571 mm) and weighing 220 lb (100 kg). The model 303L variant includes local output voltage control, voltage and current meters, and status indicators. It operates from 3-phase 480 VAC input, supports passive PFC with a power factor of 0.9, and achieves over 85% efficiency. Cooling requires 2 US GPM (7.6 L/min) of water at 15-35 °C inlet temperature. The unit provides programmable remote control via a 25-pin D-sub connector and includes protection against overloads, arcs, and overtemperature. Polarity is fixed positive as specified. All variants share the same mechanical and electrical architecture.
