Tate-Jones units are for use in low pressure applications (5 PSI) where 100% shutoff is not required. The Saf-T-Eye® Basic Unit Model No. 15 is available in three metals and four types of glass. The Saf-T-Eye® Basic Unit Model No. 15-309SS is made of 309 stainless steel and is suitable for higher operating heat when equipped with higher temperature glass and gaskets.
