Takex America, Inc. Hot Metal Detector/Sensor FD600A

Description
Description The optical head and detector amplifier are connected via a protected hi temperature glass fiber optic cable, whereby the captured infrared energy is transmitted onto the detector, which is installed at a remote location to better isolate the electronics from the heat source. This approach minimizes detector noise created in the detector electronics, which are caused by elevated temperatures (migrating electrons). The Optical Head location must be maintained at an ambient temperature below 200° C for reliable operation. The Amplifier location must be maintained at an ambient temperature below 50° C for reliable detection and relay output. Sensors for low temperature (FD300A Series) and medium/high temperature (FD600A Series) are available. Features No cooling required, so long as ambient detector temperature does not exceed 50° C and Optical head does not exceed 200°C. Excellent durability 5-point level indicator Self-check feature integrated (SAFETY feature) *Object to be detected must be larger than the Field of View for the chosen Head/Fiber/Amplifier or a correction coefficient must be calculated
