The F11 and AS-390/SRC are vertically polarized broadband coaxial stub antennas designed for the VHF and UHF communications band. Both have been designed to withstand the most severe weather conditions. Protection from lightning is provided by grounding the top section of the stub through the stainless steel tie rod to the antenna ground plane.
