The Swansensor Turbiwell 7027 is a nephelometric sensor designed for the automatic and continuous measurement of turbidity in accordance with ISO 7027. It is suitable for applications involving potable water, surface water treatment, and effluent monitoring. The sensor features a measuring range of 0.000 to 200 FNU/NTU, with a precision of ± (0.003 FNU + 1% of reading) and varying accuracy based on the turbidity level.
This product employs a non-contact measurement system, which prevents fouling on optical surfaces, and includes heated optics to avoid condensation. The sample chamber can be manually or automatically drained to facilitate sediment removal, and the sample compartment is designed for easy cleaning. The sensor is factory calibrated using formazine.
The operational conditions specify a flow rate of approximately 20 to 60 l/h, a maximum sample temperature of 20 °C above ambient, and an atmospheric drain outlet pressure. Sample connections include a 10 mm inlet nozzle and a 16 mm drain tubing. The product is compatible with the AMI Turbiwell transmitter and is available with various cable lengths and drain valve options.
