The STLVDS385BTR is a programmable LVDS transmitter designed for flat panel display applications, supporting a shift clock frequency range from 20 to 85 MHz. It converts 28 bits of LVCMOS/LVTTL data into four LVDS data streams, achieving a throughput of up to 2.38 Gbps and a bandwidth of 297.5 Megabytes/sec at 85 MHz. The device operates with a typical power consumption of less than 130 mW and features a power-down mode that reduces power consumption to a maximum of 200 ¬µW. This transmitter is compatible with VGA, SVGA, XGA, and single/dual pixel SXGA formats, making it versatile for various display applications. It includes a phase-locked transmit clock that is transmitted alongside the data streams, and it can be configured for either rising or falling edge strobe operation. The STLVDS385BTR is housed in a TSSOP56 package and operates within a temperature range of -10 to 70¬8C. It is compliant with the TIA/EIA-644 LVDS standard and requires no external components for its PLL.
