The SPC582B-DIS Discovery Board features a 32-bit SPC582B Power Architecture® CPU operating at 80 MHz, with 1MB of Code Flash memory. It includes an on-board USB-JTAG PLS debugger and a USB Virtual Communication port, facilitating easy programming and debugging. The board supports Arduino Uno Revision 3 connectivity and provides extension headers for all device pins, allowing for quick connections to prototyping expansion boards and additional modules. Power supply options include a mini USB port (5V) and external sources ranging from 7 to 12V, as well as 5V and 3.3V outputs. The board is equipped with two push buttons (USER and RESET) and eight LEDs for various status indications. It is designed for automotive and industrial applications, with features that support integrity levels up to ASIL-B of ISO 26262. The SPC5Studio development toolchain, which includes free application firmware examples, a GCC compiler, and low-level drivers, is available for download to assist in evaluation and development.
