"The narrow shell design makes Shadow ideal for working in tight spaces. Weighing only 13.8 oz., these helmets are lightweight and comfortable and feature extended front, which increases throat protection against sparks, slag, and fumes. Withstands radiant heat up to 350?F, a minimum 50% improvement over most thermoplastic shells. Standard shade 10 polycarbonate filter plate and cover plates are installed at the factory. Available in (3) different models: The HSL-100 features a 4 1/2"" x 5 1/4"" fixed front; the HSL-1 features a 2"" x 4 1/4"" fixed front; and the HSL-2 features a 2"" x 4 1/4"" lift front. Each helmet includes the comfortable 270-S headgear. Shadow welding helmets may also be ordered with cap adapters. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2003 High Impact and CSA Z94.3."
