The E2F-X series inductive proximity sensors are constructed for harsh environments with a watertight IP68 polyarylate plastic housing making these sensors ideal for use where exposed to most acids and solvents. They have good chemical resistance and withstand washdown applications. Inductive proximity sensors are the standard sensor use for metal detection, they are widely used in automation and robotics applications. These proximity switches come in shielded NPN or PNP models with extended sensing distances to allow the sensor to be mounted farther from the target. This reduces the potential for target impacts and increases the reliability of your application.
