The E2E-3DC Series 3-wire DC inductive proximity sensors are the most popular proximity sensors used for metal detection in automation and robotics applications. E2E-3DC sensors have an increased control output current making them a good choice for multiple sensing applications for use with automation controllers and PLC’s. These proximity sensors come in shielded or unshielded, and NPN or PNP models with extended sensing distances to allow the sensor to be mounted farther from the target. This reduces the potential for target impacts, down time, maintenance cost and increases the reliability of your application. The E2E series inductive proximity sensors have solid potted internal circuitry to withstand shock, vibration and for superior environmental resistance such as exposing them to cutting oils and washdown locations.
