The MIP-6 is a motor insulation protection relay designed to monitor insulation resistance in low- and medium-voltage motors up to 15 kV with an additional resistor box. It features a dual-line 16-character illuminated LCD display, programmable alarm/trip setpoints from 0.1 to 60 Mega Ohms, and operates on 85-230 VDC/AC (50/60 Hz). The device uses a safe 48 VDC test voltage, provides four configurable 8 A, 250 V changeover relays, an analog 0/4-20 mA output, and Modbus communication. Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to +50°C as standard, with an optional extended range of -10°C to +60°C. Monitoring occurs while motors are de-energized, and parameter changes are protected against unauthorized access.
