The Si8286CD-IS is an isolated gate driver designed for driving SiC FETs, MOSFETs, and IGBTs in industrial and automotive applications, with a 16-pin wide body SOIC package. It features a 12 V UVLO threshold, 3.75 kVrms isolation per UL 1577, and a single gate output pin (VO) compatible with HCPL-316J. Integrated desaturation detection, soft shutdown, and fault feedback are included, with a common-mode transient immunity of 125 kV/µs. The device operates over a temperature range of -40 to 125 °C, is AEC-Q100 qualified, and meets UL 1577, CSA IEC 62368-1, and VDE IEC 60747-17 safety standards. It supports reinforced insulation and is RoHS-compliant with a 260 °C reflow profile.
