The Si8285DC-IS is an isolated, high-current gate driver designed for Silicon Carbide (SiC) FETs, power MOSFETs, and IGBTs in inverter and motor control applications. It features an integrated Miller clamp, a 13 V undervoltage lockout threshold, and a 16-pin wide body SOIC package. The device supports up to 5.0 kVrms isolation per UL1577, provides 125 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity, and includes DESAT detection, soft shutdown, and fault feedback. It is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive use and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 125 °C.
