The Si8285CC-ASR is an automotive-grade, isolated gate driver designed for driving SiC FETs, MOSFETs, and IGBTs in inverter and motor control applications. It features a 16-pin wide-body SOIC package, a 3.75 kVrms isolation rating per UL1577, and supports a 30 V driver-side supply voltage. The device includes integrated DESAT detection, soft shutdown on fault, a Miller clamp for strong turn-off, and ultra-fast short circuit protection under 1 µs. It operates over a junction temperature range of -40 to 125 °C and is AEC-Q100 qualified. The Si8285CC-ASR has a 12 V UVLO threshold and uses complementary digital input control with a dedicated fault feedback signal.
