The Si8282CC-IS is an isolated SiC FET- and IGBT-ready gate driver with an integrated DC-DC converter, designed for automotive and industrial motor control and inverter applications. It is housed in a 20-pin wide-body SOIC package and supports a 12 V undervoltage lockout threshold. The device features 3.75 kVrms isolation per UL1577, 125 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity, and a 1 µs desaturation protection response. It includes an external power switch for higher input voltage operation, integrated Miller clamp, soft shutdown, and a power-ready indicator. The DC-DC converter operates at 250 kHz with 83% efficiency. The part is AEC-Q100 qualified and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 125 °C.
