The Si8271GBD-IS is a single-channel isolated gate driver with 4 A peak output current, designed for driving MOSFETs, IGBTs, and GaN FETs in power supply, inverter, and motor control applications. It features a 2.5 kV RMS isolation rating per UL1577 and a common-mode transient immunity of 200 kV/µs. The device has a 3 V UVLO threshold, separate pull-up and pull-down outputs for slew rate control, and built-in deglitching with 15 ns typical delay. It operates with an input supply voltage of 2.5 V to 5.5 V and a driver supply voltage of 4.2 V to 30 V. The part is packaged in an 8-pin narrow-body SOIC and operates over a temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C. It is AEC-Q100 qualified and meets UL 1577, CSA, IEC 60950-1, VDE 0884-10, and CQC GB4943.1-2011 safety standards.
