The Si8271GB-AS is a single-channel isolated gate driver with 4 A peak output current, designed for driving MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SiC or GaN FETs in power supply, inverter, and motor control applications. It features 2.5 kV RMS isolation per UL1577, 200 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity, and 60 ns maximum propagation delay. The device operates with an input supply voltage range of 2.5-5.5 V and a driver supply voltage range of 4.2-30 V. It includes a dedicated enable pin, separate pull-up/down outputs for slew rate control, and low 200 ps peak-to-peak jitter. Packaged in an 8-pin narrow-body SOIC, it is AEC-Q100 qualified and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 125 °C.
