The Si8271DB-IS is a single-channel isolated gate driver with 4 A peak output current, designed for driving MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SiC or GaN FETs in power supply, inverter, and motor control applications. It is packaged in an 8-pin narrow-body SOIC and supports an input supply voltage range of 2.5 to 5.5 V and a driver supply voltage range of 4.2 to 30 V. The device offers 2.5 kV RMS isolation per UL1577, 200 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity, and a maximum propagation delay of 60 ns with a peak-to-peak jitter of 200 ps. It features separate pull-up/down outputs, UVLO fault shutdown, and operates over a junction temperature range of -40 to 125 °C. The part is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications and meets UL 1577, CSA, VDE 0884-10, and IEC 60950-1 safety standards.
