The SI5342D-B05643-GM is a clock generator and jitter attenuator that features four input clocks and two output clocks, housed in a 44-QFN package measuring 7x7 mm. It supports a wide input frequency range of 8 kHz to 250 MHz for LVCMOS and 8 kHz to 750 MHz for differential signals. The output frequency range extends from 100 Hz to 250 MHz for LVCMOS and up to 1028 MHz for differential outputs. This device is designed to provide ultra-low jitter performance of 90 fs rms and is compliant with ITU-T G.8262 (SyncE) standards. The SI5342D offers programmable jitter attenuation bandwidth from 0.1 Hz to 4 kHz, and its outputs are highly configurable, supporting various signaling standards including LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL with programmable signal amplitude. It features hitless input clock switching, free-run and holdover modes, and allows for glitchless on-the-fly output frequency changes. The device operates within a temperature range of -40 to +85 ¬8C and is RoHS compliant. Configuration is facilitated through a serial interface (I¬=C or SPI) and can be simplified using ClockBuilder Pro software.
