These clear glass shake flasks are designed for maximal aeration for improved growth during cell culture procedures, and are intended for use with rotary or reciprocating shakers. The glass flasks feature a break-resistant lip which fits a cotton plug or stopper, and a white writing area on the side of each flask to aid in sample identification. These glass shake flasks are manufactured from low extractable clear borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type I and ASTM E-438 Type I, Class A requirements and are autoclavable. The four baffle glass flasks also feature a dam at the base of their necks to reduce splashing.
