The SiT8208 is an ultra performance LVCMOS/LVTTL compatible oscillator for applications requiring precise timing such as SATA, SAS, Ethernet, PCI Express, video, and WiFi. It supports any frequency from 1 to 80 MHz with frequency stability options from ±10 to ±50 PPM and exhibits ultra-low phase jitter of 0.5 ps (12 kHz to 20 MHz). Available in standard 4-pin packages including 2.5 x 2.0, 3.2 x 2.5, 5.0 x 3.2, and 7.0 x 5.0 mm, it operates across industrial (-40 to +85 °C) and extended commercial (-20 to +70 °C) temperature ranges. The device is a pin-to-pin replacement for quartz oscillators, consumes 31 mA maximum at 20 MHz and 3.3 V, features startup time of 10 ms, and meets MSL1 moisture sensitivity rating with Pb-free, RoHS, and REACH compliance.
