The SSU5501A is a single-pole double-throw mechanical switch designed for RF test systems up to 50 GHz. It features a 2.4 mm female RF connector, operates with 12 V driving voltage and 1.25 A maximum current, and is controlled via USB using EasySSU software or NI-VISA. Its frequency range is DC to 50 GHz, with insertion loss less than 0.3 dB from DC to 6 GHz, VSWR below 1.3, and isolation better than -70 dB. The unit measures 153 mm × 62.4 mm × 137.5 mm and weighs 890 g. Switching time is less than 10 ms, with a mechanical life of 2 million cycles. Operating temperature ranges from -25 ℃ to 65 ℃, with vibration tolerance of 10 g and shock tolerance of 500 g.
