The Aries 8000P Multiport serial communications controllers enable eight serial devices to be interfaced from one PCI Bus slot. This family of high throughput controllers supports asynchronous data transfer rates up to 115.2 kbps, full duplex, simultaneously on all ports.
The Aries Multiport high-throughput asynchronous controllers supports SPARC® Solaris®, Rev. 8, 9, and 10; Solaris x86, Rev. 2.8 and 10; and Linux kernel 2.4.
