The Apollo 4022P Multiport serial controller is a UniversalPCI board compatible with the PCI Local Bus Specification Revision 2.2. The Apollo 4022P card operates in either a 5.0V or 3.3V signaling environment. However, the card must be installed in a PCI slot that provides 3.3V power. The Apollo 4022P Multiport serial communications controller enables up to four serial devices to be interfaced from one PCI Bus slot. It supports asynchronous data transfer rates up to 230.4 kbps, full duplex, simultaneously on all ports. The Apollo 4022P Multiport high-throughput asynchronous controller supports SPARC Solaris, Rev. 8, 9, and 10; Solaris x86, Rev. 2.6, 7, and 8; and Linux kernel 2.4.
